VR CYCLE RIDE
Launching the new Galaxy Watch in style with a VR experience incorporating Samsung’s product ecosystem.
Players strapped on the Samsung Galaxy Watch, jumped on the fitness bike and put on the Samsung Gear VR headset. Once inside the VR players were greeted by a personalised message to begin the experience.
We took real-time speed data from the bike, meaning how fast or slow you cycled determined the pace you moved through the VR environment.
As players started to cycle they travelled through several abstract worlds, each one representing a different feature of the Galaxy Watch.
The experience linked the Galaxy Watch, Gear VR Headset and Galaxy S9.
Over 62 days there were 270,384 product interactions over 10 locations across the UK.
