NIKE x OMM
Shoot hoops in augmented reality to unlock prizes and discounts at Nike Factory Stores across Europe for the Gifting & Cyber-month Game Time campaigns.
Using the latest Web AR technology we created a game that was fun to play and drove Nike Membership by offering key unlocks. The campaign consisted of 2 launches, Cyber month and Gifting month, each with their own distinct red and green colour-ways.
Consumers could shoot hoops in-store and collect prizes and unlock codes once they had signed up to be a Nike member.
To ensure there was a clear focal point for the AR experience. We designed and built multiple staff podiums and floor vinyls to drive the experience.
Each store had their own prizes to hand out, so we had to create an algorithm that could give out prizes on a store-by-store basis.
A custom-built iPad app is used by staff to sign consumers up for the game and to scan their winning QR code to redeem their prize.
The podiums had a built-in screen to give extra info about the experience. Staff would sign people up here and explain the game with help from an attract video. The podiums also had power points inside so staff iPads could stay charged. Later, players would head back to the podium to redeem their prizes, which were also stored inside.
To launch the campaign a series of videos and stills were created to live on the Nike App and various social media channels. Various physical extras such as staff T-shirts were designed and produced to promote the event in-store.
